So I came across this here Fuji Finest at a pawn shop (where I wandered in to buy some guitar picks) and I saw that it is a 4130, which i like, and then I saw it was Campy--everyhing except the oddball LX front derailleur. The elderly lady who ran the place said, $150 out the door. I took it home and cleaned it. I doubt if it has 20 miles on it. Two questions: first, the one thing that seems to be damaged is the rubber brake end hoods. they are old, cracked and torn. I think the gruppo is Avanti, but there are no marks anywhere--except the Campy insignia on the cranks, hubs, and brake levers. Can anyone identify the gruppo or the brakes? I can add more photos later.

Sitting here at work I don't have a photo of the hood ends. I can paste tonight. Second question: what is this thing anway? On google I could not find a single Finest with campy on it. Aftermarket, or oddball rare bird build? Rides well. Not too heavy, even for 4130--about 21.5 pounds on my wife's expensive digital scale that she uses when she wants to be brutally honest with her little cute self.

The frame is definitely just a piece to hold parts, and possibly not even butted. Finest has been Fuji's base-model forever. The fork looks like a welded steel fork too. As for the Campy Avanti, that's just Campy's Sora. Might even make it worth less because it's Campy and NOT the ferrari pieces. I don't think $150 was a bad price considering the condition, but I wouldn't look for much turnover profit.

Fuji makes plenty of lower line bikes that are sold in paces like Sportsmart. The Finest is definitely not the least expensive, although it may be the least expensive bike store bike that offer.

Too bad the frame is so small. What is it a 50cm?

It says 52, which, when measured, is a 52.5. I can put a set of new hood ends on it and my wife can ride it instead of my Masi or my Breezer. It says double butted but no lugs; the front fork says 4130.
