Appears to be around an '89. At the time is was #7 of 9 Bianchi road bikes. It appears to be in pretty good condition. $250 is more than I wold pay for it.

I have 1988 Sport SX in blue with all Tri-Color/Light action RD, G-40 rims and corn cob gears. It had paint chips covered with nail polish when I got it. Very fast bike. I am going to try to sell it for $180.00 or so due to the chipped paint. The frame is 57cm. I picked it up at a yard-sale in 2010. Hope that helps.

It is an '88 you can tell by the fork crown and group the '89 was a unicrown fork and Sport LX group. I would suspect a good cleaning and overhaul is in order, as well as a new chain and possibly tires so I would say closer to $150ish. These were built in Taiwan I believe but definitely not Italy. The MSRP was around $475 on these. If it is anything like my '87 it should be a great rider.

A blue Sport SX would be an '86 and other than the RD nothing sounds original, but I agree they can be fast and are great riders.
