Trek guys: What model is this?
Trying to discern what model Trek this is. Was working under the impression that this was a possible higher end touring model of the early 80's ('82?) that was repainted at some point, now not convinced. Now that I have the serial number and going off of Vintage Trek, I'm more puzzled than I was before I started...
Serial number would put this at, if I'm reading it right, H - 7XX series//4 - 24in//4 - 1984 year.
Bike seems to have Shimano 600 throughout and a Campy record RD of some variety if I'm recognizing components correctly. I'm not ready to say anything is original to the bike based on possible repaint and possible purchase as a frameset when new. Looking for any help here... Thanks.

I guess, horse before the cart sort of thing... is the Trek logo on the seat stay end caps?
Is there a Trek head badge- if so, is it riveted on?
The SN points to a 1984, which points to the wrong serial number scheme- unless the 4 isn't a 4. Or it's not a Trek.

Thanks for the help guys. I have other pictures I didn't supply, but the Trek head badge is there as well as the Trek caps and fork 531 stickers. You can see it in the first image if you're on a mobile device and can zoom in.
I will be getting more images to get a better feel for the areas I had questions about. I do think the paint is original now, though, after looking for info regarding the 710. The BB shell paint is a concern, though. Whether it's as simple as touch up or something covering a more serious fix.
