Rudge on Portland Craigslist

Hey guys, I've been looking for an English bike and this caught my eye but my instincts tell me it's way over priced. Am I right? Also does anyone know the model? Is it 28"? The sell has been little help

I think by having replaced the crank and loosing the chainguard its not in a collector category, so for me its a $150 bike at best.

To me the cool thing about Rudge's is the hand on the chainring. Since the original one has been replaced with a three piece crank, it doesn't appeal to me. 28" inch wheel model would have rod brakes. This one just looks like the standard Sports model.

It is missing the rear brake as well. Front brake looks like a replacement. In my market it is overpriced. Don't know about Portland. Since you are in Portland, you should contact https://societyofthreespeeds.wordpress.com and have him hook you up with one.

I think there is a typo as there is an extra zero following the number 2.

I had a feeling. Portland's hot and I see similar bikes go for 250 sometimes but 320 with missing parts is crazy. My search continues.

Looks like something you would see at the curb on bulk pick-up day .. keep looking.

"I think there is a typo as there is an extra zero following the number 2."

Actually, I think there is a typo as there is a three preceding the number 2.
