1980`s CELO Sport
I picked this up for a reasonable price. It cleaned up well. Cilo Sport SE. It has basic 700 C wheels (Shimano hubs & Araya rims) SLR brakes, Tange Headset, Sugino cranks, Shimano Light action 6 speed indexed shifting. The frame is made of Tange Double Butted Infinity tubing. I touched up the paint on the frame. It`s a tad to small for me at 22 1/2 inches or I think I would keep it. The color scheme is just too cool looking. It is ready to ride.
What is a fair price to list it at on CL? I do not know much about this brand. I do not want to give it away.

I would wait till the snow is gone. Not a sought after brand, index shifting, good, downtube shifters, not good to many. I would think Chicago would be a decent market in the Spring/Summer. Align those brake levers though, the right one just appears turned in, it does not proclaim tuned up to me. Clean the drive train too, presentation can be a big factor, and a freshly lubed drive train just sounds better.
How'd we get from Cilo to Celo?

Still learning
Well, when you can't spell it right, how many CL prospects will be typing the brand into the search bar?
Hallmarks of a bike not to buy for a flip:
Limited distribution/brand recognition
Lower grade tubing - chromo butted seamed tubing in this case.
Lower end components.
You can't clear $100 or more after initial purchase + consumbles
Tubular rims - exception being a Reynolds 531 or Columbus SL or derivative frame.
Stuck seatpost.
Excessive paint damage or oxidation
I think the Clio fits the first three characteristics to a tee.
I took a flyer on the Swedish Crescent bike below, despite limited US recognition and tubular tires. However the frame is Reynolds 531 with cool lugs and the paint/decals are so 70's. I haven't put it up for sale because I kind of like it.

Crescent used to have some great shop posters back in the day, Swedish blonds and pro bikes. They were quite nice actually. I think they were ridden by the Petterson bros.

I spelled it wrong in my title. OOPS!! LOL
It`s no big deal if it does not sell. I thought it was a 23 inch frame when I bought it. I was not able to ride it then. It is just a bit too small but I can ride it. The bike rides real nice. It may not be top components but they work every bit as good as Shimano 600 and hoping to get more does not translate to losing money. I actually like the bike.

I went to look at the drive train to see if I missed something. It is very clean. The freewheel is brown and the chain is black. Clean though. Must be the light hitting it. Crankset has no dirt on it.
