1972 Peugeot PA10E Need help with value
I have a chance to get this 1972 Peugeot PA10E but I need help with the possible value and what would be a good offer to make the owner.
Thanks

Yes middle pic was way wrong
Fixed it
I thought UO8 also after I got advise pointing to that on another forums. But it looks more like the 1972 Peugeot PA10E to me, the crank is same and it has plan rear (no silver) drop outs. But thats why Im here, I just dont have much of a clue.

Thanks

He had this posted on another forum. The middle pic was not posted. I believe he's asking about the other bike.

The other bike in the first and last pic is a UO8 - cannot tell the condition from photos but looks OK, 125-150 is my guess.

Hi, Clark-
I am assuming your are speaking about the Peugeot hanging from the ceiling and not the bottom photo of a PX 10.
If so, yes, it is a PA 10 with straight gauge Peugeot hi-tensile tubing. The equipment seems to be all original and the overall condition is unmolested and indicates reasonable storage conditions. This is an early 70s club racing machine with what looks like tubular tires and is probably worth $200 depending on your area. If a hot urban market, more. If a rural market, probably substantially less mainly because of the tubular tires.

I would agree that is a PA 10 I would say about $200 in value also. Being it is all original and unmolested it will likely need a full overhaul and the lesser tubular wills will hurt value unless someone wants it as a collectors bike. Figure $200-250 for the overhaul and to sort out the wheels with either nice vintage apropriate tires or a different set of rims.

Still learning
IMHO, tubulars pull bike value down at the lower end. Otherwise it is pretty comparable to a U0-8, so $125 +/- $25.
