Who knows the model name of this Colnago?
Hello,
I got this nice looking Colnago bike (see attached pictures), equipped with Suntour Cyclone 7000. Since I'm only 20 years old and not a vintage bicycle expert I was wondering if anybody knows the model name of this bike, and what the bike might be worth. I search a while on the internet but i can't find out.
Thanks for helping me!
Milou

Good Moning Milou8 welcome to the forums.
I would call her Cyndi as she reminds me of the bright colors Cyndi Lauper wears.
As to the model name? I am not Colnago expert but I think it may be a Sport. Can you post some better pics? Some that sho better views of the lugs, fork cown and components.
With the paint scheme and assuming the Cyclone is original I would say it dates to '84/85ish. Lots of these bikes were sold as frame/fork only and various 'kits' were sold to build them so seldom are two alike.
Pretty bike

Nice-looking bike with that extra bit of chrome, and in such nice shape!
I've never seen one like that here in California or NY. What region does this one hail from?
I've got a couple of unknown model Colnagos that I've picked up over the years as fairly inexpensive consignments, so am wanting to learn how to determine model designations of the frames.
As Bianchigirll alluded, The components seem to be very wide-ranging, higher-quality stuff on each build.

It too bad there no way for a member to make their location easily known.

There are some letters on the chainstay, what is written there ? Probably a highend frame , they would not put a number plate hanger on a bike not meant for racing.
