Unidentified bike (purportedly a Ken Bird build)

Anyone interested in helping me identify this bike? The guy I bought it from seemed to think its a Ken Bird. I'm not sure though.

Don't think it's worth a lot. Just interested as I haven't seen many (any) Ken Birds in my part of the world (New Zealand).

The details:

Nervex Serie Legere lugs
Tange Allez headset
GB handlebars (engraved)
Weinmann 720 brakes

It's been repainted but I can still see the Nervex stamp on the BB. And the serial number is TS8557 on the rear drop-out. See photos attached

Looks to me like an entry-level mid-70s Garlatti:

The lugs, fork crown, and seatstay caps are identical. Nothing special but decent craftsmanship for the quality.
