Bianchi pursuit
Hello,
I'm looking to trade up this Bianchi and would like to know how much I can get for it. I have actually switched out the rear wheel for a real cheap wheel with clincher tires and replaced the handlebar with an equally cheap bullhorn style bar with flat brake levers. All of this was done to make it a more convenient city ride. Although it's the funnest bike I own, it's also the least comfortable and I need to get rid of it to make room for something more practical. I still have the parts I've replaced so appraising these old pics would be greatly appreciated. I've been told it might be a '89 Bianchi Krono.
Columbus Formula tubing made in italy
Shimano 105
Campagnolo seat post
Thanks!

You should probably post pictures of the way you plan to sell it...if you want an accurate assessment of the value.

I agree post pics of how you actually intend to sell it.
I agree it is likely a Krono since the term Pursuit generally refers to a fixed gear bike for track Pursuit racing.
Is that the original Ambrosio disc that used to be Celeste? These were offered on '89 with 105 and the Ambrosio wheel but for the life of me I could never understand why they were priced at $1250. These days most Time Trial or "Funny" bikes are more of a curio these if it is in good shape and really clean you might get lucky and get $500 for it if your patient and willing to aid in shipping. If you looking to sell it fast cash and carry on CL expect closer to $300. If the timing was different and it was my size I would be interested but closer to $250-300 with all original parts.
