How about something like this:

What the bike is worth depends on where you are selling/buying it, the condition, and season. It appears to be a Schwinn Continental in OK shape. In my area, in winter, maybe $100 and see what happens.

The photo is really inadequate to give a real appraisal. It's a Varsity, I think? If that's the case, I wouldn't pay more than $50, at the most, assuming that it's in good condition.

I'm pretty sure it's a Continental due to the tubular fork and alloy stem. I think $50 would be a good deal, but $100 isn't too out of line for a vintage bike.

70's Schwin Continental in nice condition. $125 depending greatly on market and marketing

According to the color and components that is a late '73 Schwinn Continental with a 24" frame in Sunset Orange. From a restoration perspective it is missing the original saddle, spoke protector and matching handlebar tape (and Sunset Orange is one of the more difficult colors to find). From the one low-res pic it's hard to tell but I'd estimate $100 to maybe $150 depending on the market and actual condition.

I would say $125 or so if the chrome and paint are good. Not quit original complete enough or good enough finish wise to interest collecters.

Good condition and clean (or so it appears from 6'). It looks poorly assembled so I wouldn't trust whoever did the work and would assume the bike is in need of a complete overhaul if I wanted to ride it. I don't, however.

I imagine there is someone out there who would give you $75 because it is shiny and orange.

It's a pretty bike. Nice paint job. Unfortunately it's a forged steel one piece crank with chrome steel bolt on wheels. Butt welded heavy steel frame. Serious bicyclist will not be interested. $100 tops. Good luck.

A bit more information may have yielded faster better answers.

Are you buying? Selling? Where are you? If you happen to know any details about the bike, model, approximate year, components.

It looks in OK condition but way too big for whoever is riding it.

In late May in most of the country you might get $100 for it. In a hot market like LA, NYC or San Fran maybe $150.

Selling it today in New England or here in PA you would be lucky to get $50 for it.
