Appraisal for 1987 Bianchi Brava?

I'm looking to get this bike possibly, but I have no idea what it's really worth

Classic 1987 Bianchi Brava road bike 55cm 56cm

He listed at 300 and I thought we agreed on the price for me to pick it up but now he wants 400 for it.
I posted in road cycling also in accident.
Thanks for any help in advance.

From the ad: The price is firm but I will accept higher offers.

He is trying to auction this bike on craigs list. No go.

Seller clearly doesn't understand how CL works. You are supposed to list the bike for more than you actually want and then people offer you 50% of your asking price and then you negotiate to meet somewhere in between

That is actually '88, you can tell by the style of the decals, and the type of tubing. I believe the MSRP was right around $600 so 300 might be the upper limit.

It seems to be still listed at $300 but if he backed out of a deal at that price wanting more I would look for a different bike.

The expert has spoken. I also feel the same. In my local market, $300 is tops I would go for that bike. I'm not a Bianchi fanatic but I would at least want the frame in Celeste not just Celeste accents. I paid $300 ($280 actually) for my Ironman last year and it has a Tange 1 frame that was in very nice shape and has Shimano 600 components (also in very nice shape) instead of 105

Thank you for great info.
I told him I wouldn't pay more than the original price we agreed upon.
