Colson chain drive tricycle hubcaps and drive hubs.
I'd like some info about these hub caps because our charity will sell them to help pay our expenses. Any help would be appreciated.
We have six of these.
I think they fit 1940s Colson Tricycle. Don't know exact year(s.) Any ideas? I recently saw a 1937 Colson trike, looked like these hubcaps.
They all have a removable drive plate, drive hub (correct name?)
Drive plate is held in with the spring shown.
Drive plates all have a slotted crown nut on one side.
Five of the plates are cone shaped on the other side and one is flat as shown in photos.
All have a right hand 7/16-20 thread.
Some were marked L.H.Colson trike, so I assume that all of them are for the left wheel.
I'm guessing that right wheel plates would have a left hand thread.
Of course, if anyone can suggest value it would help us immensely.

I think your best bet is to auction them on ebay. But given the rarity of the trike itself I cannot see these parts getting much attention, but it only takes a couple of people needing them to get a good price.
