Cinelli Super Corsa

Hi just looking for an idea on the value of this bike or even just it's frame, I'm getting the impression its quite a valuable piece, It appears to be 70/80s going on the style of the joints, The frame is fully intact but with a weathered paint still good but far from mint. the rest of the bike has been slapped together with parts from a raleigh record and has been made a fixe so i suspect only real value is only in the frame. it's being offered at 150 dollars

No real good pictures.

If it is in fact a real Cinelli Supercorsa - which it may or may not be; it's impossible for us to tell without any photos - then it would be worth the listed asking price.

Look at the bottom bracket should have "Cinelli" embossed on the shell. The lugs should be chrome with three holes and the rear seat cluster should be fastback designed. For $150 for the frame/fork would be a steal along with mixed components. Pictures would really help!

Lots of brands used Cinelli bottom bracket shells for their upperend bikes, these are often confused as being Cinellis especially if the decals have been removed.

As leegf says pics are a must for value, location helps too.

The only picture available, https://images.craigslist.org/01111_j...AH_600x450.jpg

It probably be just a straight flip for the frame as i currently don't have the storage space or facilities for restoring and i'm good with my touring/comuter and triathalon bike

Don't think it's a Cinelli.

I suppose you're right. Judging from the picture it's hard to say what kind of bike it is.

Judging from the from geometry, I think it's a track bike and not a fix gear conversion. Is it being sold as pictured? Hard to tell for sure, but the cranks look like Campagnolo or Sugino Mighty Comp track. They could be worth the asking price alone. I'd be all over that bike for $150

Do all Cinellis have a fastback seat cluster?

I hope you've been over there to check that out. Something dosen't smell quite right.
But if it is a Cinelli pista frame, you should snag it. FAST.

So what happened here? Naively, that looks like a Cinelli Superpista (as opposed to a Cinelli Supercorsa Pista, which is a different bike).

Nice bike, in any case.

if the frame is really tight and in good shape i'd make him an offer of $100 and be prepared to go 125$ he should say yes and so should u. still at 150$ it's not a bad deal imho. the bike looks legit cinelli based on image searches i did.

You could triple your money pretty easy if a legit Cinelli track bike -- The seat is worth 50 bucks alone for a good condition Turbo saddle
