You can Google "shiny wheels" yourself. Without good photos, no one else can do anything else for you.

My guess would be a spelling error, where shiny wheels should actually be skinny wheels. That said, as mentioned by another forum member, adding pictures and as much information as you can to your request, usually, garners better response results.

Hope that is welcome guidance and welcome to the Bike Forums. This really is a great information resource.

Bet it's a low-end road bike with chrome steel wheels, but with no info, anyone's guess is as good as mine.

that's what I am thinking. But if the OP bought it sight unseen... caveat emptor right?

OP,

Probably the only advice that can be given so far is that "shiny wheels" is not a known tag for vintage racing bikes, European or otherwise. If you post a pic of the whole bike, the joints in the frame, and the bottom bracket (where the crankset sits) you'll get some good info from the other folks here.

For what it is worth, that add is exactly the kind that just might yield a gem. For such adds, I hop in the auto imediato and heado to have a peeko. That's how I have scored many great deals, such as this Italian Olma for $40.00...
