Eddy Merckx Professional with Campagnolo Pantograph 80s 58cm

Looking for a new home for the following.

Vintage Lugged Steel Eddy Merckx Road Bike from the 80s. I believe the frame model is a Professional. Frame size is 58 cm seat tube (23 inches center to center) with a 33 inch stand over, and 57 cm (22.5) inch top tube. I'm not sure if that makes the frame a 57 or 58 in Merckx frame sizes.

Asking $900 including shipping lower 48 states U.S. for complete bike (include professional packing at bike shop and shipping cost). I will entertain offers for parting out... frame, components and wheels.

see photos... https://drive.google.com/folderview?i...k0&usp=sharing

Components

Eddy Merckx pantographed - Campy seat post, down tube shifters, and chain rings- Cinelli stem\
Campy super record front and rear derailleur
Campy super record high flange hubs on Mavic Open cd 4 rims
Campy starda 170 crank
Cinelli bars 16 inch spacing between brake levers
Unknown campy brake levers and brake calipers

Rides smooth and fast but frame has cosmetic issues and has seen a lot of use. Top tube brazon is rusted off, top tube has touch up paint and areas where paint has rubbed off due to cable rubbing. Bottom bracket shell and fork drop out paint is chipping. See detailed photos and please ask question or request more picture if needed. Local pickup cash offers encouraged.

I"m selling to help pay for an anniversary present.

What were you thinking on the frameset if you part out?

I'll be interested in the panto bits if a sale doesn't work out for the whole bike.

Sounds like you have things in their proper perspective!!

If I had 12 bikes in my garage, I'd be wanting to keep my wife happy, too!!
