Rear wheel, older DA hub, nice and smooth, no skewer, no cogs, with well used Mavic GP-4 tubular rim, 700C +36h. I believe this came from a Team Miyata I parted a few years ago, $30 + ship

are these super champion 58s or gentleman's? both are great rims in any case but they're different.

Checking velobase....no other labels than what's shown...

Weight: 490g
Rim width (outside): 22.1 - 22.2mm
Rim height: 13mm

No ferrules...

They might be M58.

Great shape, if they're not NOS they're pretty close.

If you just measure them, that suffices; the gentleman's were narrower than the 58s. If memory serves me, the 58s had red labels; the gentleman's blue. The 58s were more of a touring type rim.

Edit: based on the posts below, looks like my memory is wrong, :)

Both Gentleman/81 (Gentlemen?) and 58's have eyelets, so these are some other model. Blue label for 27", red for 700C.

My 700c Gentlemans have eyelets and a red label in addition to the goldish Gentleman label. Here is a picture of mine before I buffed the ratty Gentleman label right off.

Are those SC rims un-used?

I *believe* they have been laced but it's very hard to verify...will check tonight. Sorry for delay.

I'd say they've been laced and lightly ridden...just a guess.
