I believe they could be used on conventional DT lever mounts. I just tried them on a Shimano bolt-on lever mount set, and they fit fine. You would need the appropriate boss cover, and I'm not sure about stops that prevent the levers from rotating past the DT. I have Shimano shift lever boss covers for both steel and aluminum frames (latter are flat on the frame-facing side), if you need some. I also have a pair of lever travel stops that fit over a typical square base. Those don't seem compatible with the Shimano covers, however.

Let me know if that helps, or if there are other questions.

Thank you. Let me see if I can learn about what I need to make them work on regular, lateral square base.
