FS: Raleigh DL-1 in San Diego

Listing this for a friend of mine because I thought someone here might be interested.

I believe it to be a Raleigh DL-1, though I'm not well versed in old Raleighs and I can't tell you the year or exact model. It's in beautiful shape and has been repainted by our local hero, Joe Bell.

This is the info I have:

56cm c-c ST
59cm c-c TT
New chroming
Joe Bell paint job
No dents or scratches
Needs tune up and new rear rim (some bulging of the spoke holes, I believe)

Pictures, though I'm sure we can get better ones... these don't really do it justice:

$400 OBO local pick up in San Diego only. If you are interested please send me an email at sofia.etc (at) gmail.com and I will put you in touch with the seller. Thanks!

I was going to say, a DL-1 is not your style! Looks great, good luck!

I agree it sure looks nice. Cost of the paint by Bell and then chroming work certainly adds up. Not always the case but for year of production, check date code on the rear hub. Bonus for the Brooks and correct looking tires. Neg on the BMX grips. At the minimum, owner should replace with standard priest handlebar grips. Price seems right.

Thanks for pricing input. I have nothing to do with this sale other than posting it here... but if anyone is interested and needs more info or date codes I will put you in touch with the seller. He's a good guy.

New owner will be free to choose any grips s/he likes!
