FS: 1984 Trek 770, 53cm - sold

Frameset is sold

My bike shed overfloweth, so it's time to get rid of something(s).

First up is this frameset that is never going to fit me: the legendary Trek 770, here a 1984 model nominally sized as 54cm. Perhaps this was brazed by our very own @JohnDThompson, who might be able to correct anything here that I get wrong. The frameset is built with Reynolds 531C and weighs 5.6 lbs (f&f).

Measurements:
Seat tube: 53cm (c-t-c)
Top tube: 54cm (c-t-c)
Head tube: 11.8 cm
Chain stays: ~41cm (c-t-c)

The mechanical condition of the frame is very good - no rust, no dents, straight, threads all look and feel good. The rear dropout spacing measures 127mm by my ruler, and Sheldon Brown's string test indicates symmetric alignment.

The paint, however, is rough. If you have a good eye for color match, I'd say that it could be returned to a presentable condition with touch-up paint, but I've left it as found (rescued, really).

I'll attach a couple of pictures below, while the link to the full album is here.

I'm asking SOLD plus shipping (figure $35 to the lower 48), which gets you the frame and fork, plus all of the pertinent fasteners (seat clamp, bottle bolts, dropout spacers). Payment is via Paypal (F&F), otherwise you pay the fees. I'm not excited to shipping outside the lower 48 at this time.
