How about the next generation XT brakes after that? M730 or M732 or whatever it is. I've got a NOS set of the high profile canti brakes from that group.

Probably be looking at $100 shipped due to the NOSness of them. They are are sorta OEM packed in a plastic bag, not original Shimano boxes. Still sealed though, haven't even opened to take pictures.

I have a spare Duopar. How do I tell if it's the earlier titanium model? Plates are definitely steel (magnetic), so I assume it's the later version.

No expert and haven't looked closely a titanium one in
person (I have the steel Duopar Eco).
I'm pretty sure properly Duopar is the titanium model and Duopar Eco (economy?) is the steel version, so it isn't a later or early difference. The badges are different at different generations, however.
There is supposedly a difference in some rivets being bolts on the titanium Duopar.
Titanium is darker.
The steel ones are Duopar Eco and the ones I've seen say Duopar Eco on one of the arms.

I have a used Duopar Titanium that has been sitting on the shelf. Link to pictures . I had it on my 74 Raleigh Competition for a while. The dark gray parts stamped parts are titanium. Very good shape. The only thing that I don't have is the dropout alignment washers. I fabricated one out of aluminum for a Huret dropout that works, but does not look elegant - you can see it under the claw on the second, backside image.
I am restoring the Competition and do have the original Huret Jubilee gear but was also considering remounting the Duopar. Nevertheless, I'd consider selling. Not sure what the going prices are, so will have to do some research. Look at the pics and let me know how much you would offer.
Thanks

Nothing particular, but different angles. It is a long cage, right?

Sorry for the delay - a bit busy with work. Anyhow, I have decided to keep the Duopar for the time being. Messing with it taking pics and such convinced me that I'd like to mount and use it again. Sorry for the unintentional tease.
