WTB Bicycling, Cyclist, Winning Magazines
I am looking for copies of Bicycling, Cyclist and Winning magazines from the 1983-1989 time frame. Condition is not important as I just want them to read. I want them complete and not falling apart though.

Somewhat slow older guy
Unfortunately, I pitched my collection during the last move. I had a lot of that time frame.

I did the same. We moved about 15 months ago. I kept a handful of issues that I remembered most and pitched the rest. As I've gone back and read them, I wish I would have saved them all. Oh well. It is fun reading with the articles very different than what is found in today's magazine. It's also amazing on how you can recall a phrase or sentence from an article 30 years later.

Shipping alone is likely to cost a bit of coin. To make it worth the seller's while, at least a couple bucks a mag. Does that sound about right? I only ask because I have some of what you're looking for.

Shipping can be by media mail. It takes a bit longer, but is inexpensive. It is by weight and not distance as well. So, a package costs the same regardless of the origin and destination. A 10 pound box shipped by media mail costs $7.01, for example. Paypal shipping can handle Media Mail. I just weighed 11 magazine (Motor Trend) and they weight 6 pounds 12 ounces without a box. That's a little under 10 ounces a copy, which sounds about right. I know these mags are not expensive and it makes sense to try and find a nice stack at one place instead of buying 1-2 copies.

I collect comic books as well and there is a debate about that (comics contain ads as well) given that the ads are no longer current. I've sent both comics and magazines by media mail for the past 20+ years and never had a problem. We even had a meeting with a PO director to discuss it when we had an active business shipping the stuff.
