FS: '73 Raleigh Carlton Gran Sport F/F poor paint and chrome

for sale from: Cleveland, OH, 44111
shipping: through Bike Flights.
price: 80$ plus shipping - SOLD

The chrome is pitted, the frame has a lot of scratches and a very small ding as seen in the second picture.
Reynolds 531 frame and fork.
Head set and BB part of the sale.
62 cm center of crank to top seat tube
57 cm length of top tube

I have one in the exact same size, as you well know, but it's almost exactly the kind of frame that welcomes the torch. It's in good structural shape, ratty on the outside.

They do ride like a dream, IMO.

What is the largest tire that will fit, 700c?

With fenders? Should take at least 35s. Maybe 38s. Brakes may be more a limitation than the frame. Pretty much the same geometry as your '73 Super Course.
