WTB Huret Challenger Rear Derailleur
As title says, I'm overhauling a mid '70's Raleigh Super Course MkII for a woman I met when purchasing a some bikes off Craigslist a couple months ago. She had lost her husband a few years ago and her bike has been sitting for quite some time. She said she'd like to begin riding again so I offered to get her bike cleaned up.
So far I've overhauled everything on the bike but the cage spring on the rear derailleur has been overtorqued and is weak.
If anyone has a junker with a good spring, or one in reasonable condition, please let me know.
Thanks,
Kurt

I have a Huret Jubilee off a MkII, from a MD bike shop no less.
It's shown in post 1225 in the Show me your Super Course thread.
Let me know if it meets your needs

Are you not using it? That Super Course in the thread looks real nice.
I'm trying to get out with as little out of pocket as possible, and Jubilee derailleurs usually run pretty high. I'm already into it for cables, Koolstop pads and a lot of time just getting things cleaned up.

Thanks, the bike is pretty sweet.
Given the climbs in my neighborhood, I'm "updating" to 7 speed. I don't need the Jubilee.
This feels like the right project for the part. Cover the cost of shipping from NM, it's yours.
PM me with your shipping address

Great thread and outcome!
@satbuilder - if convenient, please do a thread on the project. Super Course Mk II is a personal fave o' mine.
Thanks for posting.
