FS - 1987 Canopus F/F

SOLD - 1987 Canopus F/F
Seat Tube is 59 ctc, Top Tube is 60 ctc
According to sticker, tubing is Columbus "Tubi Speciali Rinforzati - Acciaio CrMo Cyclex - Doppio Spessore"
Columbus dropouts.
Cinelli Bottom Bracket
Campagnolo Headset included.
I purchased bike from 2nd owner who had owned it since 1989.
Never crashed. No dents. No rust. Very few nicks.

Through email with Jorge Gomez (direxpo here on BF and son of Canopus founder) I have learned that the frame was built in June/July of 1987 by Hernan Vargas in Columbia. Then sold to a shop in San Diego. According to Jorge, the bike has been repainted and restickered but is a Canopus according to frame characteristics and the serial number (how build date was determined). THIS THREAD is where I discovered Jorge.

I am selling because it just does not fit me like I want it to and I have other things I would rather do with the funds.

New price —> $SOLD net to me, plus shipping.
PayPal only

Pics added below
I am also including the bonus parts listed at the very end.

Yes, I've been known to pay $18.90 to ship and receive a Box o' Crap, but nearly ten times that much is just a bridge too far for Can o' Pus.

(Sorry, bad joke. What I meant to say was 'bump." I'd actually be interested if I wasn't trying to reduce right now. Only buying grails and stupid-cheap flip bikes.)

Nice looking frame (and just my size too). Too bad I'm trying to clean things out, not add to them at the moment. best of luck with your sale.

this is really tempting. post when it sells, and if it's still hanging around closer to end of summer i might be ready. the size is just right.
i have a couple of road bikes now, one i'm going to switch from skinny tires to fattish tires (an '84 TREK 420) and a Nishki I powder coated I'm thinking I'll make a flat bar city type bike and try to sell. Maybe take all the OK level components from the NISHKI can hang them on this for a road bike.
best of luck getting it sold quickly so i am not thinking about it!
