FS: 1984 Trek 610 19"

SOLD!
Here's a really nice 1984 Trek 610 19" c-c. Got this off ebay last year and had some plans for it that didn't pan out, so passing it on to someone who'll appreciate it too. It's a So Cal bike - the ebay seller included the original owners manual, complete with sales receipt.

Frame looks great, paint is the best I've seen on these old 531 Treks. Even the head badge and 531 sticker look like new. There's none of the usual frame surface rust patterns (not on cable guides, not under BB). Only spot that has some of that started is around the shift lever clamp. There are some scratches and some spots w/ touch-up paint, and some missing paint/scratches where the included pump mated against the seat tube and head tube (see pics).

Components all look nearly new and are all original except the tires, and women's Avocet saddle was swapped at time of purchase. Judging by the chainrings, I think this has spent most of its life hanging in a garage. Pedals are stiff - I assume the grease has gel'd up. Front hub is tight; Helicomatic rear hub feels good. Didn't check the BB but crank spins nicely. Needs new brake hoods (Cane Creek should fit).

Asking $200 + Bike Flights shipping. Please PM if you have questions.

1984 Trek 610, 19" c-c

Like-new head badge

Chainrings look new

Rust-free under BB

Scrapes due to pump (@ headtube too)

There are a few spots with touch-up paint and a few scratches and scraps but nothing major

Only spot with surface rust here @ shifter clamp

Thats a nice looking 610. Don't see them in that condition very often. And a great price. Good luck!

+ 1. This is a very fine machine and won't last long at this price. I have one that I built up from a frame. It's a mile eater; it's a just a fine all around machine built with reynolds 531 cs tubing (531 double butted main triangle and probably reynolds chrome moly fork and stays).

If this was a 21 inch frame I would snap it up. These are the most comfortable frames I have ever ridden.
