1986 Schwinn Tempo 25"
Schwinn Tempo - 2406 stamped on the head badge
Tange Falcon Headset included
Seat Tube CTT 25" (63.5 cm)
Top Tube CTC just under 23" (58 cm)
Rear Spacing 126 mm
Columbus Tenax tubing
$95 plus shipping
This frame is too big for me. I regularly ride a Schwinn Premis, one model under the Tempo (for 1988 only) and I love it. I think the mid to late 1980s Tenax Schwinns are very under rated. The Tempo frame & fork is straight, but has signs of wear. I've tried to capture the worst of it in the pictures. The paint has some scrapes. Seat binder bolt is included, but the frame doesn't have drop out adjuster screws or water bottle screws. I'll throw those in if I find them, but assume they do not come with the frame.

Seat tube 23
If it was a 23 inch Tempo I'd be all over it. Tempo's are awesome bikes!!!!-

I do like the Tenax Schwinns. If this was a 23", I would keep it for myself. I think the larger size limits the interest in the frame.
