'81 Team Miyata 58cm - $450
Selling my Team Miyata at long last. I love this bike but I just can't ride 25's on the roads around here anymore.
Built with Miyata's home brewed Splined Triple Butted tubing and gorgeous cutout lugs. This build is full of 80's good stuff from the Suntour Cyclone derailleurs to the Dura Ace hubs. The Suntour Command shifters have been modified for friction use and function really well. The brakes and headset are the only modern touches - Tektro R539, Cane Creek brake levers and a Tange Levin headset.
Cosmetically its clearly not perfect. There is some surface rust and two of the top tube cable guides are goners. Its a solid ride though, stiff when climbing and confidence inspiring down hills
58cm seat tube (c to c)
58.5cm c to top
57cm top tube
Suntour Cyclone derailleurs
Suntour command shifters (modified for friction use)
Wheels: Mavic open 4 cd rims, Dura Ace hubs, Vittoria Open Corsa 700x25 tires, DT Swiss spokes
SR cranks
Lots of Vintage 80's goodness!
This bike was raced by the Kopps cycle team - one of the oldest bike shops in the country (look em up!)
$450 plus shipping through Bike Flights. Packing is on me.
I'll try to check PM's but best bet is to email alario@gmail.com
