ISO: single speedable frame w/decent tire clearance
I'm looking for a 56cm frame that has clearance for at least 35mm tires and some way to facilitate single speed. For example, years back I had an 80s Trek frame that was designed for 27" wheels and had semi-horizontal dropouts, that worked but it was too small.
So something along those lines, non-disk, and not hundreds upon hundreds of dollars.
Thanks!

shoota,
I have a mid 80's Trek frame. I think it's the 610 model, so 27" tires with plenty of clearance. It's 23" according to Trek, but I think the c-c is pretty close to 56cm. Main frame is 531, chromoly fork.
I'm pretty sure the only braze ons are cable guides down at the bottom bracket, so it would make a pretty slick single speed.
Its all straight, dent free, and with original paint, but it's not perfect.
I can PM some pics if you're interested
