Grey Trek Frames. Free to good homes

Downsizing .

Does anyone have interest in free Trek Frames.
25" 520
25" 500 Series

I have a bunch of grey Treks, and need to downsize.
Both frames are in nice shape as riders, not beat to death.

If there is interest in these frames, I will post pics, and perhaps a couple more .

Free Pickup in Dayton, Columbus or Cincinnati Ohio. Will pack (for free) and ship at your cost.

Thanks

I’d grab that 520 if it was 56 or 58 but my calculator say 25 inches is about a 63. Let me know if I’m wrong.

I'll take the 520 for sure; I even have most of the parts to build it up properly, if it's pre-1986. Sachs-Huret derailleurs with Simplex retrofriction shifters, an absurdly pristine pair of black ano Matrix rims with 6-speed Helicomatic hub and cog set, various Sugino triple crank sets, Avocet Touring I and Touring II saddles -- the works!

You are correct. It is a tall frame, at least 63.

Hmmm, a 25” would be right up my alley... And I am actually a fan of Ishiwata tubing (if that’s what it sports). A serial number would solve the mystery.

More 650b...

A very generous offer jjames1452. They'd be my size, but I am not quite ready to offer them a good home. I would love to see pics of the frames once they get settled in their new homes.

If google is correct, the 520 is a touring frame. Is the 500 series the 500 Tri series or one of the other models (510, 560)?

And here you thought there may be no interest haha
I'm still in for eithier, but I'll admit I dont have nearly as ready to go of a set up as Lascauxcaveman. Hes got the whole bike minus frame it seems! Haha
Anyway however you end up choosing who they go to I hope I'm in the running. I'm betting any of these fine peoples would give eithier of these a good home though!

Too bad. That was a 9XX frame, not a 7XX. If the other person backs out, I'll take it.

I want it, especially since I have so many of the appropriate parts for it. But feel I'm being a little greedy, since I have so many nice tourers already. If there's anyone out there who's feeling just sick that they missed out on this, speak up. Otherwise @jjames1452, I have sent you my mailing address and PayPal is standing by!
