I'm dragging my feet about shoveling.
Actually, last night we picked up my snowblower from the shop.
Around 25 years ago my dad replaced his ancient snowblower- it sat in their garage in West Bend for 15 or so years- brought it here- found it was too difficult to use on our driveway... this past year we had our driveway redone... I should be excited about using the snow blower...
BTW- your bike is a perfect example of how even Trek's lower end bikes were still really good bikes. The old Trek green is one of my favorite colors- but I've got way too many bikes and yours is too big!

Yup, bikes are like women’s shoes, they gotta be the perfect size, color, fit and of course... price
they can never have too many shoes if it meets this criteria. lol
free local pick up. I’ll even load it for ya..

probably the year he was born.. some do buy bikes based on a certain year.
For a 1979, I think you’ll be searching for one with the glued on brass head badge. I think only the first 3 years (1976, 1977 & 1978) came with the screwed on brass head badge. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

Update:
Yesterday I got some interest on this TX300 pending shipping fees. Due to work this weekend, I won’t be able to get any quotes till I pick up a bike box and package it up Monday morning.
so far, 2 are interested pending shipping..

I here ya on just using box dementions to get a basic shipping quote. I Still need to buy the bike box from FedEx. I’m at work all day and not near the bike. I’ve also never weighed it before.
Shipping from zip 53217
plus $5 residential fee, plus $1 donation, plus cost of new bike box.

I've seen this bike in person and it's very nice. If it's the one I'm thinking of there is an original bike shop price tag under the seat. GLWS!
