FS: 'Monsta' Casati Monza 64.5cm ST 60cm TT
Had a bad case of Casati fever that last few months....
I picked this up as a 60cm, but it's a good bit bigger, and the Ellise I recently acquired fits me better, so this one is on the chopping block.
Hard to find Italian bikes this big, so a great opportunity for the long-legged out there. It is stamped as a 64.5 on the bb shell, my measurements are:
64.5cm ctc 65.5 ctt seat tube
60cm ctc top tube
22cm head tube, 26.5cm from fork crown to top of dura ace headset
41.5cm chainstays
The frame in in very good shape overall. There are some small paint chips throughout, namely on the underside of the downtube, and some tire rub on the NDS chainstay but otherwise the finish looks great, and the colors are bold. There is a bit of paint missing from the front internal brake routing as well, but you could easily touch it up if desired. The frame is also fully chromed under the paint which adds to the durability and allure. Speaking of chrome, it's also in very good condition. There is a tiny spot of surface rust under the fork crown, but otherwise, it's radiant on the fork, headtube lugs, and chainstays. Please see the pics HERE for more info.
I am asking $350 shipped CONUS for the frame, fork and Dura Ace headset
