1983 Trek 720 - 21” - All Original, needs cleaning/resto
Hi all,
I picked up this bike with hopes of restoring it, but I just don’t have the time, nor is it my size. I would like to pass it on to another member who wants to give it the TLC it needs.
I bought it from the original owner who left it all original, other than new tires. It is plenty dirty, greasy, there is a scuff on the seattube “Trek decal”, and has a bit of surface rust on some of the chrome bits and pieces. However, the paint is in great shape, there is no rust on the frame, and the components are in great shape, including the Huret DuoPar derailleurs.
This bike matches the catalog specs. It is 21”, has Reynolds 531 throughout, and Campagnolo dropouts. Take a look at the catalog for specs (pictured).
asking $200
I would rather sell locally in Southern California if possible. But, if I can’t find a local buyer I am open to ship at cost via bikeflights.com (probably ~$50 in continental US).
