SR Royal crankset - maybe damaged?
I posted this crankset for sale a few days ago, but quickly took it down when I noticed what I thought were cracks near the center of the drive side spider. The highlighted spots are definitely surface imperfections at least. I discussed it in a thread here:
Does this cransket have a crack?
There are suggestions in the thread above to file it to good metal, but I worry that this will take out too much material, and I want to leave it to the next owner to decide what to do. I am basically pricing this for the beautiful drilled 52/42 144mm bcd chainrings, defect-free non-drive-side crank arm (170mm), branded chainring bolts, and branded metal dustcaps. You may or may not decide to file the drive-side crank and use it, but I am essentially throwing it in as extra.
Pics to follow in a reply, but I am asking $45 shipped to the lower 48.
