FS: Beautiful 25.5" 1970 Raleigh Super Course!

Hello folks,

Had this one up for sale before, but I'm revising the listing. First off, I'll put it back to the stock configuration I received it in except it will have new pulleys on the Simplex Prestige rear derailleur, and the front derailleur will be re-attached in the correct position. The shifter cables will be new but the brake cables are still original. It has new Kenda 1 1/2" gum wall tires now.

Also, I dropped the bicycle once on its drive side while moving it around in storage. This put a scuff on the side of the Brooks Professional saddle and on the tip of the handlebars, scratching up the bar-end plug and the tape a bit. Otherwise, it's still in just as beautiful condition as the day I received it!

A (Nearly) Immaculate 1970 Raleigh Super Course

Virtually this entire bicycle is original. Above is a thread I posted about this Super Course last year right after I obtained it. Please read through it for lots of information about this particular bicycle, about Hans Ohrt's shop in Beverly Hills where it was originally sold new, and about some recollections I had regarding it from a former Carlton employee who assembled bicycles just like this at the Worksop factory.

The photos in the first posts of that thread are how the bicycle shall be sold, except the minor issues and changes noted above. The frame size is 25.5" from center-to-top with a 23" top tube.

The price is $400 shipped within the Continental United States (lower 48) or $300 with local pickup in the Fresno/Visalia area.
