FS/Trade: Sturmey-Archer FW 4-speed hub internals
Would really rather trade this for some Campy bits (I'm actively seeking some NR calipers, including orphaned ones), but I'd like to move this out either way.
This is a parts-built Sturmey-Archer FW which I assembled from bits and bobs (mostly used, but I think a few bits were NOS) kicking about in the back drawers of the LBS. It is mostly complete, but the sliding clutch will not engage, and the driver will literally freewheel in both directions (it didn't when I first put it together, but it had some other issue which required me to take it apart again. So, after a few tries, I succeeded in screwing it up a bit more). I tried putting this thing together around eight to 10 years ago, and I vaguely remember that it might be missing a clutch part or the proper return spring on one side.
Whatever the case, it is what it is, and someone looking to tinker with an FW couldn't find a better candidate than this.$35 + shipping OBO, or trade. PP only, you cover fees.
