For sale, 1975 Schwinn World Voyager

I need to make room for another bike so the World Voyager has to go! It’s in great shape. For a 44year-old bike. Many of the original parts have been replaced with Campy, and there are sew-up wheels and tires to go along with the original clinchers. I’m not entirely sure that I have all the old Shimano parts but they may be lurking around somewhere. I’ll post some pics soon.

$300.

Thread moved to proper forum. Now you just need to post the price.

Done. Thank you.

I'm really not sure what price to ask considering what shipping could amount to with two sets of wheels, etc. I'm thinking of starting at $300 and if that seems unreasonable to negotiate from there. Thanks for your response, and thanks mods for moving the post.

The frame size is 22" or 56 cm and here are a few pics of it hanging in my garage.

Size and some pics would help also.

I believe these were made in 1972 & 1973 only and were offered in either 21" or 23" sizes, measured center to top. This one looks to be what Schwinn called a 23".
Shipping would probably be around $60 - $70 for the bike and $30 for the extra wheels, shipped separately, using Ship bike or bike flights, if the seller did the packing, within the lower 48.
I'd be contacting the seller if this were a 21". Looks like a nice bike.

Because of the bike and the price, better pics and presentation are needed here. You have a wonderful machine, show it off!

In my opinion the blue ones are the best looking, and seem to be harder to find than the Orange. Also came in Cool Lemon, I believe.. I sold an orange 23 frameset with lots of paint touch ups for $120 last year.

I'm gonna jump in here and sound like a jerk, but really? Take the bike down from the rafters and get some pics made. No one wants to stand on their head to figure out what you have here. It looks like a nice bike worthy of a good look.

Yep, definitely needs better pix & a more detailed description. What parts are Campy and what are original or other replacements. Overall looks like a very nice bike. Sorry, but don’t know about your pricing.

Cheers,

Van

I'll repeat the requests for more pictures - specifically of the seatpost cluster, since it looks like some dark blue paint has been added to the lug and there's a little decal that looks like 'TJM' on the seatstay cap.

I've inverted the photos. I don't even know if it's still for sale since this was posted in January.
