74 Raleigh Pro Frame and Fork 21in

Time for this to move on. 74 Raleigh Pro in the less common silver and black, A9472 in the 21 inch CTC size. This is for the frame, fork, Campag bottom bracket, Campag headset. This bike is not perfect but presents very well. It was sold at one time and got damaged in shipping. Specifically the DS drop got push partially closed and upon return the head tube was dented. Both were successfully repaired. Note the NDS rear drop adjuster has been broken off. Asking $250 shipped in CONUS. For an additional $50, I will include the correct 3TTT stem (85mm) and the period correct GB map of Britain bars. Note the bars will be bare and the Campag brake straps will not be included. Will consider component trades for partial payment. Looking for Campag Super Record Brake levers, calipers among other things. See more photos.

SOLD

Beautiful, and a very fair asking price, imo. My size, my decade and something I don't have. Very tempting, but not something I can move on for a while. Someone's going to be very happy.

And in a medium size! Bump for a lovely bike. Wish international shipping was reasonable.

A member asked for more details on the damage to the frame and how it was repaired. The DS drop was pushed partially closed. After consulting two local frame builders who recommended looking for a visible crack and if none, gently restore the drop to its proper opening. That is what was done.

The head tube was dented enough at the top, slightly to left of center to the point the race would not install. It was repaired by driving a socket of the appropriate size (don't ask what size, I don't remember other than it was a snug fit) through the head tube from the bottom.

Dropout as it appears today below.

Me me me

Lynn,

I'll take it. I've been looking for one of those silver and black pros for a long time. They only produced them in 1974.

PM me please.
