Mafac adjuster repair

The inner portion of the Mafac brake adjuster used in the half-hood version is badly designed - the bottom projection is such a thin wall that it bends - and breaks:

So I got some stainless tubing, 4mm, 0.5mm wall and silver-soldered a bit in to replace it:

I had to get a lot more tubing than I need. If anyone out there needs the same repair, pm me. Postage plus beer money, depending on how many you want done.

(Yes I can do the bent ones, that bit just gets cut off.)

So THAT'S what I pulled out of the Co-op's brake ferrules and adjusters bin! It's the right size to fit a Raleigh brake bridge, but too tall for a clean bend. The housing wants to push it out. When I bring it back, I'll put it in the Mafac parts bin!
