Well, I guess we know where shins stash went! Curious, what seat post fits?

Columbus made a teardrop shaped seattpost but those go for around 3 Benjamin Franklin's.

The idea of attempting a 25.0 seatpost came to mind but the whole seat tube is teardrop shaped.

"Only" a 600ax

Well, either the "C" or "E" type, made by Tange. The Vintage Lotus site doesn't appear to specify which one, but there is an "E" on eBay for around a buck fitty!

"Super rare vintage Shimano 600 (same design as the Dura Ace version) AX SP 7322 Aero seatpost.

I believe this was originally designed by Shimano for frames made of Tange Aero tubing bikes (similar to Columbus Air tubing but a different profile, although I've seen people shim these to make it work).

Signs of use but good condition."

@malcala622 What's the tubing? Is it the Tange Aero mentioned above? Top tube length CTC?

Yes Tange Aero dynamics. I included decal close up. I have no idea why there's tape.

Top tube is 56cm C-C

Upon closer inspection it's not scotch tape but the tape used for rub points of the cable housing. I'll leave it on the frame to give its new owner the decision on removal.
