FS: 1970 Mondia Special
This is a restored 1970 Mondia Special. Made of metric Reynolds 531 it has Campagnolo dropouts. This bike has been bouncing around a bit and may have even been listed/sold in the forum before.
This bike has been repainted a cream color with a blue head tube and has correct reproduction decals. Paint is in very good condition with only a few small flakes/scrapes. Lugs are outlined in red and outlining is of fair quality. Head tube lugs, fork crown and fork ends and stay ends are chromed. Chrome is in good condition. Some pitting and discoloration is evident.
New cables and housing, bar tape, repro Mafac hoods. Completely cleaned, lubed and serviced.
This Mondia has a 56cm (ctc) seat tube, 56cm (ctc) top tube frame and has the following components:

- Campagnolo shift levers
- Campagnolo pedals
- 3ttt Record stem and handlebars
- Miche Competition low flange hubs, Mavic GP4 700c tubular rims
- vintage Brooks Professional saddle

Another 1972 Special owner happy with mine! That one looks beautiful , restored maybe? The Swiss did a good job on these bikes , they are lighter than they look and comfy on long rides.

Nice bike.
I also have a Mondia built about 1977 but I don't know which model it is.
It is a very smooth ride but the Suntour Skitter derailleur still confuses me.
