Early 90s Ritchey Logic Road Bike

SOLD!
For sale is an early 90s Ritchey Logic road bike. Serial number: 441. It is in extremely good condition with no dents or dings and few chips/scratches. The mechanical components are all Shimano 600 Tri-color (Ultegra). This includes, crankset, derailleurs, 8 speed cassette hubs, 8 speed STI shifters and dual pivot brakes. The stem (12cm) & bars (ORMA SL) are 3T. The headset is Tange Vantage and the seat post is, of course, a Ritchey. The saddle is a Selle Italia Flight.

The frame measures 21in (54.5cm) CTC for both seat tube and top tube. Crankset arms are 172.5mm with 53/39 chain rings. Stand over height = 30.5in. The cassette is 12-25. It has a new SRAM 850 chain. The hubs are laced to Mavic Open 4CD rims. There is some scuffing to the anodizing on the brake track of the rims. The tires are 700C X 23 Continental Ultra 2000 and appear to have very few miles on them. The Shifters have been flushed/lubed and are fully functional. All cables have been replaced with new SS units. It also has new brake cable housings. Handlebar tape is in very good condition.

Price: $800 plus $100 for packing & shipping to lower 48. PayPal friends and family preferred. If you are in the Portland-Salem-Vancouver metro, I can deliver. May also consider delivery to the Eugene area.

I am facilitating this sale for our local co-op where I volunteer without compensation. Myself and the other staffers who focus on specialty and vintage bikes, felt this was the best way to get the a fair price and pass it on to someone who would appreciate and respect it. Since I’m retired and have a link to Bike Forums, I was assigned to this. If you feel the price is out of line, feel free to make an offer.

If you would like additional info or pictures, please email me, vancy@att.net.

Thanks & regards,

Van

I have the same frame, in the same size, from a few years later with the pretty much the same components, except some Ritchey wheels. A superb, stable, riding bike, can’t recommend it too highly.

That is a good looking, no nonsense bike. If it were mine (and it's too small) I'd have a cool nickname for it.

Ghost Rider
Snow Queen
White Lightning
White Knight

Something like that. There was a thread recently of someone looking to spend a lot of money on a low to mid level modern bike and it was bikes like this I had in mind to argue him away from it.
