WTB Suntour Alpha FW with 21t sprocket

This is a stretch, I know, but I'm trying to put together a unique Suntour 6-speed freewheel. I have all the parts except a 21t sprocket that is from the alpha freewheel body. The caveat is that the 21t sprocket cannot be the lowest or second lowest gear in the freewheel, it needs to be the smaller diameter, splined sprocket.

Thanks for any help,
David

Let me take a look. IIRC, won't the multi-splined middle Winner family of sprockets work on the Alpha body? Or is all the western fire smoke that's blowing into New England impacting my memory?

If you post a pic or link of what it would look like, and any markings of note, I can check my stash. I picked up a box of NOS later Suntour cogs a while back, so who knows - I could be holding.

Smoke is affecting my memory. I have a 20T not a 21T. Of any interest?

Question for all - Ref: Suntour Accushift

Would Alpha be the correct freewheel for these shifters if I want indexing. Had no issues with friction shifting using a Suntour Winner but simply couldn't get indexing to play. Might try different cable/cable housing/cable end caps but might help if I start with correct FW......

Generally, 7 speed Accushift should require the 4 notch Alpha freewheels. 6 speed Accushift shifters are more universal and will index shift standard spaced 6 speed freewheels, Suntour or Shimano and others. You also have different indexing modes for Ultra freewheel spacing on both models. And friction of course.

Sadly, not. I’m on the hunt for another of my half-step Franken-wheel setups. But thanks for checking!

I'm in the same boat, sort of. I'm still trying to determine if I need the specific accushift freewheel, before even installing the shifters.
Edit: And it appears that I don't. I have six speed freewheels around here.

I have had used a 6/7-speed Shimano bar end shifter with the 6-speed pull-adjusting clip installed to successfully index a Suntour Perfect 5-speed FW (not using the final click) - they use the same spacing. It’s pretty cool.

If you haven't looked at this and you like to geek out on Suntour Accushift, this is a bible, of sorts.
