Three road bikes and a bonus
I want to sell three road bikes, and I want to sell them all together:
Number 1 is a 23" 1972 Fuji S-10-S. It is blue with upgraded brakes and wheels. Chrome socks front and rear. It is original except for the upgraded wheels and brakes (oops bar tape too). Very good condition, just a few paint chips.

Number 2 is a 62 cm 1985 Nishiki Riviera GT, red with a yellow head tube. Tange Infinity DB tubes with mangalloy forks. Paint condition is excellent and original except for the saddle.
Number 3 is a 60 cm 1990 Peugeot Nice - Pepto Bismal pink. Reynolds 501 frame and new Vittoria tires. Paint condition is excellent. There is a small tear at the saddle nose.
The Nice.

The bonus is a 1969(?) 23" Gitane Hosteler. The paint is crappy and the Soubitez tail light is broken. It is all origilnal AFAIK except for tires.
Price is $450 for all 4 bikes and you pick up on the eastern shore of Maryland. If you are truly intersted I will trundle them down from the attic and take photos. Meanwhile I will search for pix on the HDD and edit this post.

How much for the Nishiki alone? I foolishly keep buying 25"/64cm bikes and really need to shed those and get something smaller in my old age.

At that price I'm definitely interested. Can you measure the standover height for me? That will be the deciding factor. And let me know where in Maryland you reside; I might choose to make the drive instead of hassling with shipping. Thanks!

Hmmm, I don't know if that would be a significant improvement over the two it would replace. Both my Cresta and my Paramount have 25" seat tubes (center-to-top) and measure 34 3/4" standover to the top of the cable housing along the top tube, say 34 1/2" to the top of the top tube; Cresta on 27 x 1 1/4" tires and Paramount on 700 x 32C tires. I can straddle them but don't have the clearance I once did. Darn, guess I'll have to think about it. Thanks for the info.

Hmmm, just how many 25"ers do you have??? I noticed you can certainly find 'em in the classifieds, judging by your entries in this thread. The USA has just so much wealth (and almost 10 times the population) the choice down there is huge. Some incredible bikes show up in this thread..

Those bikes from the classifieds just showed up. I do not search specifically for tall ones, although I'm partial to tourers and like to make their presence known.

He lives on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
Drive over to to the coast, take a quick swim in the Atlantic, and the "shrinkage" will take care of your standover height dilemma.
Pick up the bike on the way back from the beach.

I'm flattered to think you think that "shrinkage" will be adequate to solve the problem. What I need to do is go back a few years and unbreak my feet and do a couple of other things to regain my old height. Or buy a smaller frame.
