Motobecane Grand Record (1976?)

Motobecane Grand Record, I believe from 1976. Did not sell as a complete bike, so am parting it out. I measure seat tube and top tube at ~ 22.5 inches center to center. More photos on my Flicker here - https://www.flickr.com/photos/39670213@N06/

Weinmann brake calipers and levers - $25
Campagnolo two cable guide - $15
Huret single shifter - $10
Pivo stem - $15
Handlebars - $10
27" wheelset, rear wheel has Helicomatic hub with unmarked rim, front has Sansin with Araya rim - $45

Frame/fork/Stronglight Competition headset/fenders/Huret cable guides/seatpost/saddle/saddle bag/pump and 2 pump holders - $80 (SOLD!)
TA crank (170 mm) - single chainring - $25 (SOLD!)

That's a solid deal on a great bike. Also these have clearance for pretty fat tires if you go with 700c.

I really like my '73 Moto Grand Record. These got a little better by the late 70s as I believe it had a full Reynolds frame by then. The early ones had a 531 main triangle. Mine has 531 main triangle and fork.

Very nice build! If my Grand Record fit, I would probably build it up like yours.

That is the exact year of my Grand Record. I had converted to entirely Campy Record group set but the basic bike is the thrill!
