Dia Compe 980 Cantilever Brakeset
Great overall condition and have awesome stopping power.
Straddle cables and fancy Gran Compe quick release cable hangers included.
Kool Stop Pads filled/angled to fit narrower rims, but work great and have plenty of life left.

Interesting customized taper to those koolstop pads. If I recall correctly, the original pads were the four-dot versions. I’m curious, was this modification done to accommodate 700c wheels in place of 27”?
Great set of brakes, have them on a few bikes.

These came off of an 84 Miyata 1000 which had factory spec 700c wheels. I do believe the original pads were the Dia Compe four-dot (worn out and hard as rocks). These Kool Stop "Scott Cantilever Big Block" replacements were just too wide for the braking surface on the Miyata wheelset. I'm guessing they are intended for beefier mountain bike rims, maybe? Anyhow, trimming them down with a Dremel was fairly painless and they still worked REALLY well.

Oof, if I had seen this I’d have been all over it. Great set, congrats!
