I went to the parts stash and there are two different ones. The position of the stop is higher in one model and lower in the other. You may need to pull the right shifter apart and compare the one you need to the pictures here. Then call me and I can will get the correct one out to you. Here are the pics of the differences:

Note the position of the stop in the left one. It allows for more return if the shift lever if you are using the older style of lever. The right one is correct for the older levers which have less cable wrap up than the newer levers.

The position of the stops relative to the square cut out for the braze on boss.
