FS: XL 63cm Scapin with Pantographed Campagnolo Victory Group

Selling a big, rare and beautiful bird here. A mid-late 80's Scapin road bike, built in Italy with Columbus tubes complete with the original Campagnolo Victory groupset with Scapin pantographed cranks, chainrings, seat post and 3ttt stem.

Based on the condition of the componets and original tires, this bike had barely any miles on it and spent a long life as a garage queen. I have gone through it and given it a complete overhaul including fresh consumables (chain, cables, housing, and bar wrap), new grease and bearings in the hubs, headset and bottom bracket, and extensive detailing of the frame and all components. Outside a few small paint chips and some decal wear (decals are over the paint and super easy to replace if desired) this bike is a gorgeous survior from the height of the steel bike era.

This is a big bike, the top tube is 60cm ctc, the seat tube is 63cm ctc and 65cm ctt with a 20cm headtube and the stem is 140mm. I am 6'2" and it's doable, but I'd need a shorter stem and the seatpost would be as low as it will go. Since I have plenty of other nice steel bikes that fit me better, this one deserves a new home. I am asking $600 for the bike as pictured, and I can include some silve clip-in SPDs if desired. Strong preference to sell locally in Denver CO, but willing to pack and ship at the buyers expense (likely ~$100). Please see detail pics HERE.

Dam, that is a steep head tube. What is it, 74.5?

Likely in that range. With a good bit of rake on that fork. That's gonna steer FAST. Though with a 140mm stem and brake levers at that position, it'll be slowed up quite a bit. My 66cm Impulse has a 75° HT angle. Lively!

Killer deal for a truly beautiful bike. To fit me how I'd like, I'd be changing the stem at the very least. Would hate to break it up. Thankfully we have other tall BF members. Good luck!

You two were the ones that popped into my head as tall. Hopefully someone takes advantage of this one.
