Mondia ,57cm. L'Eroica ready

Mondia Super,Made in Switzerland ,serial # 261536 which makes it a 1977 model. Reynolds 531 tubing .. Size 57 CM as measured from center to center.

( Im not sure if its a Special or a Super so I added the serial #)

The chrome is in great shape and there is no damage to the frame. It was painted a few years ago so its not original black paint. The paint is far from perfect as it has some scratches and blemishes, but its still a very good looking bike.IMO

Full rebuild of BB and headset. Campagnolo equipment throughout. Cinelli bars and stem , Mavic 27 inch wheels with Ofmega hubs. New Pasela tires and new brake pads. Rolls saddle .New cables and housing. The seat post is a Sugino .

I rode over 200 miles on this bike without 1 single issue.

Selling for $750. Prefer local pickup in the Los Angeles Orange co area, Possibly even San Diego.

Yes it does. I just checked the internet , looks like the Special was the touring bike version with a few different braze ons.

Yeah...I didn’t know if the Super was “the super”, and the Special was also a “super” but with different components (and therefore the same super head badge.

Pretty bike.

First one I’ve seen in black. Great looking bike and they are quite comfy . I have a 1972 or 1973 with the common red fade paint scheme and I love it. Good luck , someone is going to get a nice bike.

Excellent rebuild using Campagnolo period correct components. Would be a great Eroica ride ! Love the Italian frames from this era.

Yes, the black goes very well with the transfers and chrome Nervex lugs! And I like the placement of the "Made in Switzerland" decals close to the fork crown. Alas, too big for me too. GLWS!
