Beautiful bike and well worth the asking price. You should list it over on the paceline forum.

Are you certain about the size? Looks like a lot of HT for a 54.

maybe I have always been measuring wrong. I thought from center of the bottom bracket to the center of the top tube. here are actual measurements so there is no confusion. thanks for the heads up.

Same, if it was only a 56
I can't tell if I'm happy or sad that it's a 54

A lot about Tom Ritchey in there. Also some early indications of the way Specialized operates.
Very interesting examination of human nature, as well.

It fits me. I've been trying to buy a 56cm here for a while, and he's reluctant to sell.
But nope, not going there.
Told myself "no mas."
Yep, that's it. Kaput.
Right.
Aargh.

Based on the sizing chart jadmt posted, this is a 56.

I seriously doubt it. CTC is the only way to measure. Looks like a square 54 to me.

I believe you, it's just that the chart says C-T in the frame size column and your pictures show 54 c-c and 56 c-t.
It is my size, but I don't hear a siren's song for whatever reason.

I was asked if 28 or 32 tires would fit. looks like 28 will but 32's would be really tight. the ruler is 26mm wide. the current tires are 23's.

I just looked at your Craigslist ad.

Dude, you don't have a driveside photo, the pictures are really dark no detail and only three. Your add states it needs a tuning, and the last line does put a downer to it.

https://missoula.craigslist.org/bik/...467535476.html

I do want to help you, and I apologize if you feel mocked.

the last line is because I get the "I saw your item and please email to make arrangements with my broker" scammers never actually say what the item is they are responding about, i changed the wording a bit thanks. It probably does need a tune up so like to be up front about that. I appreciate the input and will add more photos. thanks.
