FS: 1st gen. Campy NR brakes in the box

as the title indicates. please note the lack of any markings on the arms. '68 - '69 (?) only.
I believe the levers and cables to be NOS but the caliper assemblies show signs of light use.
$1200 + shipping.
happy to post additional pix upon request.

Rare indeed! Perfect for that early Colnago restoration. These need to be on a bike

they were *very* popular at the Eroica swap meet. most people didn't initially understand the importance.
as I said then I'll repeat now... if I didn't have a second set I wouldn't *dream* of letting these go
p.s. the other set *is* on a bike. '68 Pela built Benotto that I'm just finishing up.

I didn’t know that the earliest ones had rubber adjusting rings.

Did the Gran Sport version precede or follow these?

my understanding is that these brakes give Campagnolo a complete gruppo for the first time. GS brakes were later.

meh - never did understand the appeal of campy. $1200 for a pair of old so-so performing brakes? no accounting for taste as they say.

Why would you waste money on caliper brakes of any kind when discs are so much better??

(Note of sarcasm above….)
